We can't do a popular vote you say. Who will think of the rural voices you say.

I say "land doesn't vote" but you say who will think of the rural voices?

The rural voices like mine you mean. 

Not like the black voices. Not people like Ahmed Aubrey's who go for a jog to get shot by white men who hunted him down.

The rural voices.

But not like the Sihasapa and Hunkpapa Native Americans who protest pipelines being dragged through their sacred lands.

The rural voices.

But not like the atypical people. The people like Elijah McClain who was killed by police in Aurora Colorado for dressing weirdly, so he was drugged with ketamine and strangled. 

The rural voices. 

But not like the Texas women with bounties on their head for getting raped and wanting an abortion. 

The rural voices.

But not the queer voices. The people like Matthew Shepard who was tortured and beaten for being gay and left to die tied to a barbed wire fence in Wyoming.
